Jeffrey Mok’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling for companies nationwide. His work spans a variety of technical areas and industries, including software, consumer products, wireless communications, semiconductor technology, automotive technology, and financial services.

Jeffrey prides himself in developing deep understandings of his clients’ technologies and businesses. In litigation, Jeffrey has represented clients in federal courts across the country and before the U.S. International Trade Commission. His experience includes helping clients navigate litigation involving standard essential patents. Outside of litigation, Jeffrey provides patent counseling and due diligence services for clients, including patent risk analysis and other advice to support business decisions on licensing and monetization.

In the community, Jeffrey is heavily involved in the Asian American Bar Association of New York, including serving as board director and co-chair of the Intellectual Property Committee. In 2026, he was named the organization’s Member of the Year.

Prior to entering the legal field, Jeffrey was an engineer at The Boeing Company.

Jeffrey’s work has earned him recognition in the legal industry, including being named a “Rising Star” by the New York Law Journal (2020) and regularly included in the “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” list by The Best Lawyers in America. In 2022, he was honored by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association with its "Best Under 40 Award."

Jeffrey is an alumnus of Columbia University (B.S. in electrical engineering), and New York University School of Law (J.D.).

Jeffrey is a lifelong fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.  In his free time, he enjoys travelling with his wife and two daughters.

Asian American Bar Association of New York (Vice President, Programs and Operations; Co-Chair, IP Committee) 

National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Pro bono activities  Jeffrey considers pro bono work an integral part of his practice, and he devotes considerable time to pro bono efforts. Recently, in conjunction with the Legal Aid Society, he has represented two clients in matters related to fair wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and he has advocated for black car service drivers through the Urban Justice Center. He has also provided pro bono services to local nonprofit organizations including Dancing Classrooms and Green Bronx Machine. Jeffrey serves as the pro bono coordinating attorney for Fish's New York office.   

Case Work 

Alongside the Legal Aid Society, Jeffrey and a Fish team represented a New York City building superintendent in a matter concerning fair wages. In recognition of their efforts in this case, the Fish pro bono team was awarded the Legal Aid Society's Pro Bono Publico award, which is presented to a small percentage of LAS teams in recognition of "outstanding and sustained achievements in pro bono services."
