Eli’s practice spans all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigations to trial, with a strategic focus on achieving early case resolution through dispositive motions or favorable settlements. He has advised clients in matters involving semiconductor design and manufacturing, consumer electronics, computer hardware, software, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, and telecommunications. He also has experience handling standard essential patent disputes related to cellular communication technologies based on ETSI/3GPP standards.

Before joining the firm, Eli served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Chief Judge Susan Braden at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. As a registered patent attorney, Eli also has a successful record in patent prosecution, both in the U.S. and internationally, including post-grant proceedings and licensing negotiations.

Eli also dedicates his time to pro bono matters, including advocating for clients in immigration proceedings, disability discrimination cases, and wrongful conviction cases in collaboration with nonprofit legal organizations across the country.

Prior to transitioning into law, Eli gained hands-on research and engineering experience in both academic and industry settings. His doctoral research focused on applying carbon nanotubes and fullerene nanomaterials to design innovative electronic components and devices.  Additionally, his work in electrical engineering included developing circuits for security and fire detection systems, along with the software tools needed for their testing.
