Fish & Richardson Attorneys Selected for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Fellow and Pathfinder Programs  Home News & Events News Fish & Richardson Attorneys Selected for... Three Fish & Richardson attorneys will represent the firm in the 2025 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows and Pathfinder programs. Principal Baile Xie, Ph.D., has been selected as an LCLD Fellow and Associates Alyaman Amer and Meghan Thadani have earned spots in LCLD’s prestigious Pathfinder program. 

“It's an honor to have another group of talented Fish attorneys selected for the esteemed Leadership Council on Legal Diversity programs,” said Ahmed J. Davis, Fish principal and national chair of the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiative. “These programs provide invaluable opportunities for personal and professional growth, allowing participants to expand their influence both within the firm and the broader legal community, and continue driving meaningful change in the profession, now more than ever. Despite what headwinds may exist, it is imperative that we continue to be the change we want to see.” 

Founded in 2009, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is dedicated to creating a diverse and dynamic legal profession. Its year-long Fellows program mentors diverse attorneys with eight to 15 years of experience, preparing them to become future leaders. The seven-month Pathfinder program focuses on developing high-performing, early-career lawyers by strengthening their leadership and relationship-building skills. Participants gain valuable exposure to seasoned legal leaders, professional development experts, and executive coaches. 

In her robust cross-border practice, Xie partners with clients in the U.S. and globally to develop and manage strategic patent portfolios, with a particular focus on telecommunications, blockchain, and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning.  

Amer’s practice encompasses a broad range of intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on patent prosecution in the electrical, mechanical and materials, computer-based technologies, and software areas. 

Thadani focuses her practice on complex patent litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels within the life sciences sector including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and biotech and diagnostics.
